CURRENT SITUATION
Hoping For A Better New Year
One year ago I wrote here about how we hoped that KATS would be able to rehearse and perform shows in 2021. Sadly, that was not to be. Despite our best efforts in following all the guidance, we have been unable to make the logistics of rehearsing and staging a show either at Kennet School or Upper Bucklebury Memorial Hall work. We have therefore taken the difficult decision to put Who Let The KATS Out on hiatus until later in the year.
We will be looking forward in 2022 and thinking of what types of events we can put on for our members and audiences. This may be virtual performances or helping out at local civic events, watch this space!
Subject to restrictions, we will be holding our AGM in April 2022 and we hope to have some better news to share with you all then.
If you have not done so already, please like our Facebook page and/or follow us on Twitter to keep up with news about the Society. In the meantime, please keep yourself safe and follow the health advice being given by the appropriate authorities. But, where possible, please look out for your friends, relatives and neighbours who might be vulnerable and in need of some help.
I wish you all a Happy New Year and a hope that 2022 will be a better year for everyone!
